Program Description

Off to K We Go! is a two-part parent workshop series designed to help families prepare for and confidently transition into Kindergarten. The series combines practical guidance, hands-on learning, and direct access to resources that strengthen school readiness at home and support families through the enrollment process. Each session is interactive, easy to follow, and grounded in what parents say they need most during this important stage.

Off to K We Go! series helps families understand how school readiness works both at home and within the school system. Part 1 focuses on building readiness skills—such as early literacy, basic numeracy, and Kindergarten routines—through sessions that give parents the tools to teach and practice foundational skills with their children. Part 2 supports families as they navigate the enrollment process, school expectations, and communication with teachers so they feel equipped before and after the first day of school.
